COMPANY PROFILE:

• Established 1992
• Started as the cargo GSA for Affretair with A 40 ton payload on the DC-8's, flying weekly between South Africa and Europe.
• Provide weekly international air freight import consolidations from Europe, the USA and starting an office in Australlia, with Allocated space on schedule flights to Johannesburg for numerous freight agents and clients in South Africa an to most African countries.  Local clients are notify on arrival of cargo, as we receive pre-alerts from out international offices on all the shipments.  With regards to shipments for other local destinations and/or other African countries, we arrange the 'removal in bond' or 'removal in transit'.
• We represent a cargo aircraft, which operates an Ilyushin-76 (IL-76) based in Southern Africa, with a payload of 40 tonnes and a volume of 190 CBMS.  We offer cargo air charters wolrdwide and have vast experiences in Africa, carrying normal general cargo to live animals, on a full charter, part-charter or ACMI contract.
• Cargo we have loaded and flown on the IL76 are:
  'Giraffes' to middle east. 
  Assorted 'wild animals' to China. 
  A 30 ton 'Electric Motor' to Australia. 
  A 30 ton 'Turbine' to Ghana.  'Telecom Equipment' to the DRC, Sudan, Nigeria.  'Mining Equipment' to Tanzania, Car, Congo, Mali, Niger, Chad, Ghana and from UAE to the DRC. 
  Relief goods plus equipment to and from most  African countries.

• Other aircrafts we can offer are:
  AN-12 with a 15 to 18 ton payload. 
  AN-32 with a 6 to 7 ton payload. 
  AN-124 with a 100 ton payload. 
  DC-8's with a 38 ton payload.
  DC-10's with a 65 ton paylaod
  Tristar-L1011 with a 53 ton payload
  AN-12 has moved 'Telecomm equipment' to the DRC amongst some.
  Tristar is currently on a regular round trip schedlue from europe to W.Africa and M.East, and has carried fresh fish and perishables to Europe form Johannesburg.  We have also laoded livestock on numerous flights with the DC-8, DC-10 and B707f
• We have regular air freight exports to Africa, Europe and worldwide and provide a European network in conjunction with our offices in Amsterdam.  Amongst some of our air exports was a shipment of military aircraft's fusilages to Indonesia.  Telecom equipment which we crated, trucked and exported form Capetown, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg in the DRC.
• We also provide logistical support such as packing/crating, surface transport and heavy lifting machinery for unusual outsize cargo..  See the gallery page.
• Our warehouse facility is a bonded 'transit shed' in association with 'Aero Ground Services', and can offer an all inclusive superior service with years of experience loading palletised and bulk loading aircrafts such as boeing-747, 707, 737, 727, Airbus-A340, Antonov-124, 12 Ilyushin-76, Douglas/DC-10, DC-8
• Aero Ground currently handles and loads cargo for air Portugal-tsp, air Gabon-GN, Das air cargo-DW & Angolan Airlines-Taag.
• We provide aircraft ground support for aircraft charters such as navigation, landing, parking, flight clearances, loading, fuelling, cleaning, toilets, payment, load sheet-plan, crew accommodation & airline catering.
